It's a Carnival around this house!

We Had Aspen's Birthday and it was a carnival!!! We had about 10 booths with activities and the kids had to earn tickets by doing tricks to "Pay" to do the activity. There was tie-dying shirts, a kissing booth, where the kids had to guess how many kisses were in a jar. There was a duck pond, a ring toss, and a clothespin drop! There was even a pony, a real one, for the kids to ride. And my favorite, a pie throwing booth, Bryan was the lucky one!! (What a good sport!!)
We had so much fun!!

A clown even made an apperance!

Time flies and too many animals!!!!

Ok, I know it has been FOREVER since I have updated my blog, 3 reasons.... 1.There is never enough time in the day to get anything done is there? 2. I'm not computer smart and all of a sudden I can't get pictures to download and 3. I have about 40 more excuses!!!
My friend/sister-in-law Heather keeps saying,"wouldn't it be nice if there was a pause button for our kids so we could get caught up with life, projects and cleaning and not miss out on enjoying our kids!!" Amen to Heather. As my LISTS keep getting longer and longer and less is being checked off I feel the same way. I don't want to wake up one morning and realize that I missed my kids childhood. So Dax, Aspen, Daddy and I made a list of things we want to do this summer and every single one has to be done....we made a promise!! We came up with about 40 things (Heather did the same thing and had 83ish on their list) so I felt like Adding to our list but decided to start with the 40 so that something would get "checked" off this summer!! So here goes nothing!
We have done about 20 things on the list, Like sleeping outside in the backyard , Going fishing, camping, the movies, Have a sleepover with uncle Riley, (He just got home from his mission). Watching fireworks, going swimming.....and our list goes on!! And we will do it all and then some, we hope!!

We have also had quite the animal farm going on here. It started with the Easter Bunny bringing 2 Baby chicks, Mama and Binkie, and Mama dying the next day, Then we gave a local farmer Binkie after a few months. Then we got a Duck, Laffy taffy, and kept him for about 2 months and then let him go at a pond where we go fishing. Then we got 5 caterpillars and watched then form their cocoons, and "Hatch" We had butterflies and kept them for about a week and then let them go. Then we got a frog, Caruso, and he died the very next day!! So we went to get another one and ended up with a BUNNY, named Roxy!!! What a farm!!
And I have really cute pictures of all of this but we can't figure out what is going on...so instead of not updating my blog for another 3 months I am updating with no pictures!!!

Camden and Dax looking for Eggs

Aspen and Easton

We also get together with the Dewitt side and do an Egg hunt. This year we had it at our house. Heather and her three boys came, Nana and Uncle Devan, and then us! (Jarom and Bryan were working) Bryan was able to stop by and eat and help a little We had lots of fun!! We hide over 100 eggs and the kids get to find 20 eggs each. The kids then consume way to much sugar!!! Probably like every other child out there right??

Bryan Looking For the "Golden Egg"

T.J., Dax, Aspen and Mom Warner

Cute little Aspen trying to keep up with everbody

EASTER EGG HUNT.......HOW MUCH DID WE FIND????
Easter at the warners is the highlight of easter! This is actually an understatement! Our mom, Trina hides over 100 eggs and puts money in them! This year Aspen found around $10.00
Dax found about $7.oo and Bryan and I found over$30.00!!!:)
The adults definitely have way too much fun! Tj and Emily found the golden egg with a $20.00 and plus some more, there total was over $45.oo. FUN TIMES!!!
Then on easter Dax and aspen woke up to some chirping, the Easter bunny had left them a chick! What are we going to do with a chick?? I can't decide if we should keep him for the eggs and fertilizer on the lawn or if we should give him to a farmer! He is really cute but has tripled in size!!

NO MORE MESSES PLEASE!!!!
It was the end of a long day and I could not clean up one more mess...I was done. But I had promised Dax a "De-lish" roll and so I decided to put them in the tub, with underwear still on so this was "G"rated and gave them their yummy roll!! Then when they were done I turned on the water and gave them their bath!! Everyone was happy, esp. MOM!!

Let's go to the ZOO!!

We went to the zoo this week, because it was free day. Michele Christensen called us and told us about it so we decided to go. Dax loves the animals and was anxiously awaiting the gorillas. (We went back in June and the Gorillas were eating their poop and Dax thought that was so funny and has been talking about it ever since.) He was a little disappointed because they were eating real food this time. Thank goodness! Dax took the pictures at the zoo with his new camera and these are a few of his shots!! We saw the new baby Giraffe and he was real cute. The White Alligator was still there too.

Daxtyn's Pictures!

Daxtyn got a digital camera for Christmas and I'm not very smart when it comes to technology! So, his way cute pictures kept getting deleted because I couldn't figure out how to save them to the camera and then download them to the Computer! There was an owners manual but it was in French,(Not really but it made no sense to me at all!!) Bryan came to the rescue and we finally figured it out! And downloaded some of his cute pictures. He was taken some really good ones, but they got deleted, and I am still sad about it. But these can make up for it. He lined up all his stuffed dogs and positioned their heads just right.
Sooooo CUTE!!!

"I'm goin' soak up the sun!"

Living in Utah can make you crazy in the winter! It is too cold to be outside, the wind makes it even colder and the inversion makes the air worse then LA's and the sun can't shine through! It is also sad that we get so use to 10 degree days that 38 degrees feels like summer!! Like today it was 38 degrees and the sun was shining through the inversion somehow and we were outside!! Dax and Aspen were riding bikes and 4-wheeler's and burying treasure in the 3 foot snow drifts, to find in the spring!! :)

Daxtyn's and Bryan's Birthday!!

Well, I am surprised that it hasn't been months between my last blog!! We had Daxtyn's birthday and Bryan's this last week! I made them both a really nice breakfast and then we went to church.
(both b-days were on Sunday this year, the 10th and the 17th)
Dax was excited that they sang to him in Primary and gave him some popcorn.
Bryan's want list for his birthday was a little costly this year...
1. A truck, a nice one, not a clunker! ($20,000.00)
2. A snow plow for his four-wheeler ($1,000.00)
3. A big screen TV ($900.00)
4. An air compressor ($350.00)
and finally,
thanks to my dad for putting this one into Bryan's head...
5. A snowmobile ($4000.00)
so if you are good at math that equals $26,250!!!
anyone have any extra cash that they don't know what to do with, Bryan will help you!! :)
needless to say we don't have extra cash so he got some new shirts, shoes and a back rub!!

Super Hero Birthday Party!!

We had Daxtyn's Birthday party today, (his birthday is on Sunday) We had a super hero theme. The invites were Incredible's , we played super power games, and I forgot to play two of them.... Very Frustrating!!! The cake took too much time and didn't turn out as envisioned! I used 4 1/2 tubs of frosting, two cakes mixes, 10 toothpicks and nine feet of tinfoil!! (The Cake is dumbbells) There was 15 kids here and 6 that couldn't make it, what a house full!! Dax got very nice presents and had a lot of fun, his favorite game was shooting the green villain with silly string in the HOUSE!! I think he liked it so much because the green villain was a traced silhouette of Bryan!! I made capes for all the kids and had masks for them, they were all running around and looked so cute!! What a fun DAY!!!

We're going to DISNEYLAND!!

We decided to go to Disneyland with the McDonald's (Bryan's sister) and Nana, (Bryan's mom) Then Kaycee (Kiffin's sister) said that she would like to go and then we finally convinced Grandma and Grandpa Warner to come with us! So we had 14 people making up the fun!! Dax was able to go on all the big rides and he was so excited, he liked being measured to see if he was big enough, I think almost more then the rides themselves. He went on the Tower of terror, space mountain, splash mountain, just to name a few!! We were so proud of him!!We bought him one of those BIG suckers that became a community treat for all the kids, and it never got smaller, we finally just threw it away!!
We also went to Laguna Beach (Nana grew up there) and Dax LOVED the water and sand. It was pretty cold and he was soaking wet and was having a blast!! Aspen hated the sand and the water was way to cold for her liking!!

We had so much fun we might just go back next year!! :) Yea!!
